Beartooth & Red Lodge

bob, together with carolyn, brought me to red lodge and beartooth today! so fun! saw lots of snow and its thickness is even taller than me! how cool! there were even hardcore skiers ready to take off at the top of the mountain. so cool! but i was too tired to have maximum fun. too cui. super deprived of sleep.
bob and carolyn are how cute. keep teasing each other. (erms, and i'm like an extremely large light bulb lah. dunno why bob asked me to go also. but nvm, can get me out of MHS good enough)
we saw many wildlife today! (but still no bears and wolves=( ) we spotted 4 coyotes, 1 kid red fox, 2 antelopes, 4 wild ducks, 1 egret or swan (dunno what's that) and a zillion buffaloes and elks (as usual -_-") And did you know that antelopes are like the 2nd fastest running animals on earth. it doesnt look fast to me though.

不知道

part of me wants so badly to spend as much time as possible with them since they're leaving so soon. However, the other part of me hopes not to build up the bond any further since we wouldnt be seeing one another again after this 1 or 2 weeks and this will definitely get me thinking about them and make me low and depressed.

Snow Pass & Bunsen Peak!

okays, now its gonna be just words 1st. my pictures are all over the place! havent got them yet.

Snow Pass
this is so much fun! 1st time seeing snow! me, atap and juline, together with the thais decided to try hiking up all the way to the entrance of Bunsen Peak. Supposedly, its only gonna take us less than 3 hrs to reach Bunsen Peak but we ended up taking like 5 or 6 hrs and we didnt reach Bunsen either. Reason being, we spent tooo much time playing in the snow! couldnt resist it! HAHAHA. the thais even stole bin-linings from EDR for snow-sliding. No words can ever express that kind of high-ness! Too shiok to be true! =D

There's still a smile on my face now thinking back on what happened that day! =D

1. Atap had so much difficulty getting over a fallen tree trunk, super funny! (right atap?! *waahahahaha*)
2. While others slid down the snow in the normal way, me and atap had the most peculiar way of sliding down the snow. we started out the normal way and ended up sliding down head 1st. -_-" After landing, both of us couldnt move at all. (seriously couldnt move!) Its only until we heard screamings from ppl who are sliding down the same path as we had done earlier did we quickly roll over to avoid them crashing into us. This was a natural reaction for both me and atap cuz we had experiences of crashes while trying desperately to climb up the snow slope. Its is so super hard to climb up the slope but the slide down makes everything worth it *beams*
3. And yes, we did it again. we ended up in a entangled cluster during the slide down. All cuz of Mr Korn! (Korn is too heavy! hahahah =X)

Bunsen Peak
we did it! we climbed to the top of Bunsen Peak!
somebody is so so wrong! who says we cant do Bunsen Peak? well, we did it! and it wasnt that shiong anyway. Not exactly easy-peasy but not THAT difficult.
Had so much fun playing in the snow!
snow-sliding, snowball fights, bashing up the snow, shouting at the peak, taking stupid pictures...WOOHOO!! oh yah, we wrote our blog name (babes-in-us) in the snow too! HOHOHO

i love thailand!

The thai ppl are so much fun! really feels very comfortable and family-like being with them. So sad that they're leaving so soon, in like less than 2 weeks time. =(

We had a language exchange last night in their rooms. Its interesting to know that 1 word can mean soooo many different things in the various languages. Cool!

Yellowstone Speed-Visiting with Larry!

yest was super fun!

Larry, rus's customer at fastfood, offered let us tag along as he drove ard yellowstone. In the end, he became our chauffuer driving us to whereever we want to go. Thus, we managed to finish yellowstone speed-visiting in a day! rus and me literally ran through all the hikes. woohoo!

we finished almost the whole yellowstone (Mammoth, Old Faithful, Lake and Grand Canyon) and ate at 3 of the EDRs already. after this trip to the different villages, i feel so fortunate being in Mammoth. its the best village afterall. Old faithful is nice, in terms of its architecture and stuff but ppl there arent as friendly as Mammoth. Grand Canyon, needless to say, is CUI. super super cuiii!

we went to Norris Geyser Basin and Firehole hotsprings too! I must go to Firehole Hotsprings again! must swim in it! But we didnt managed to catch Old Faithful in action cuz we didnt want to make Larry wait too long. Hence, rus and me decided to take a photo with the sleeping Old Faithful despite jf's countless objections. Nvm, will go there again!

Oh! rus and me decided to waddle into the ICY COLD yellowstone lake to take a picture. Its really FREZZING cold! our feet were numb when we got out of the water. Crazy, but its fun! :D And i got stuck in the snow too. Well, i didnt know the snow was so deep and was still happily running on it until my feet suddenly sank into the snow. its quite scary cuz it feels that you will keep sinking.

yayyy!! had so much fun playing with doudou! (the chinese name that we got for Beans) doudou is just soooooooo CUTE!!! ultimate! i think this is the life man! nice scenery, gd weather, nice and friendly ppl (some of them) and doudou!! who cares for shopping and city life when we can go for hikes and play with doudou everyday?! :D
